The Dream – Rudragaud Indi

Rudragaud Indi’s works are a take on the coexistence of the past and the present in any Indian metropolis. His fantasy-scapes, inspired by the rapid urbanization that has swept the country, feature flying cars floating in space, road-rollers with nowhere to go, and half completed bridges, all comments on the lack of basic infrastructure, neglect, and broken dreams. Other subjects that have drawn the artist’s attention are the rapid extinction of wildlife, particularly of the tigers in India, and the lack of conservation measures undertaken.
