"Unbound" online drawing exhibition by Oorja was on for 45 days from August 15th to September 30th. It started on a day that commemorates the independence of the country as well as marks the self-determination of all participating artists to remain unbound despite the times. We believe that art and its environment are intangibly entwined. Artists merge them with their own ideas to create something new and beautiful - spirit of art cannot be bound or chained and is limitless.
A big shout out to all the artists who could sell their artworks and to all the art collectors around the world who made that happen. We thank the digital media platforms for the reach we achieved and also the online coverages of the show by Madan Rao from yourstory.com for his 3 staged release of articles, Prasanna Kuchhangi through Bevara Hani Sunday special, Vishwanath Guggari through Art affairs, Times of India and The Hindu online.
"Unbound" provided a huge opportunity to all the participating artists and gave them the exposure and experience of learning from other artists, especially the younger and upcoming generation of artists could assimilate so much from the senior generation. Special thanks to Rosh Ravindran for creating the website, Nivedita Gouda for her video editing and posts, Ritu Chawla Mathur and Vanaja Bal for creative write ups, posts on Facebook and Instagram and press release notes. A huge heartfelt thank you to senior artist M G Doddamani for this unique idea, the curation and managing the show in such an impeccable manner.
